ExcaVision 3d GPS+

iGrade Excavator 3d

Now the excavator can take its own point, line and surface measurements to increase your productivity.

This is the ultimate system to keep your machine in motion. You can provide a CAD drawing with point, line and / or surface data or survey on the fly and then use the surveyed entities for measuring. For example, you could survey the endpoints of a storm line with the excavator and start digging! The system also provides interactive editing of the line so you can translate it to a specified cut and offset if necessary.

This is a RTK GPS system that will get your bucket within centimeters of where you need it. For example, in laying sanitary sewer or even digging footings, you can typically get it within 0.1 foot before anybody needs to enter or approach the excavation for an elevation shot. It will also keep you within 0.1 foot of the alignment which pays for itself when you come out of the manhole while setting up your pipe laser or are trying to dig footings in the right place. You can also quickly store a "Hold Point" from a surveyor offset and measure from that point as a second check. It also would keep you within tolerance on a footing alignment and can show where re-inforcd corners or stoops need to be dug out.
